We plan to add a country filter to the B2B marketplace, your thoughts?
Last week, we have been to the hydrogen technology expo in Bremen and received the feedback that we should add a country filter to the B2B marketplace http://www.hyfindr.com. Customers want to search for vendors from a certain country just like they want to know which products are from a certain country. We plan to allow such filtering of both, products and vendors by country. Please give us feedback to this idea. Do you support that?

Hello Björn,
I was in the Expo a couple of weeks ago, and gave this feedback. The notion behind the recommendation is that developers and vendors need to work closely in this initial phase of pilot and test plant development. Quick responses, visits in production sites and knowledge sharing are very important aspects. So, it would be useful to filter based on location.

Hello, I fully support the country-of-origin initiative Bjorn. This is a good idea where it is important to have local content and support for projects.

Location can be important for design. You may need to comply with regional norms/standards, but there may also be other factors that depend on a specific region (e.g. in some cases, projects in China get better funding if the parts are sources in China, so the choice of suppliers may be skewed towards those in China for funding reasons). I support adding a country/location filter.

Hi Bjorn, That would be great for organizations to find their partner at their premises to work closely and share information. May be you can add more options like vendor/supplier search, queries and market trends etc for B2B section.
