  Calculating Compression Energy for Metal Hydride Compression

  Hello all, I am need them to calculate metal hydride compression from 30-35bar and 80° to 500 bar.

  I have the enthalpy of formation and entropy of formation properties for some metal hydrides.

  Is the compression energy i.e. heat addition from a lower Van’t Hoff isotherm to a higher Van’t Hoff isotherm from the change in entropy (TdS) or from the enthalpy of formation?
